Comment

The hoard was found during digging for a canalisation ditch. The coins were stored in a silver bucket which was broken upon discovery. The coins were dispersed among the workers and only partially retrieved after the intervention of the local police. A. Jeločnik in his 1961 publication managed to track down 1415 coins from all over Europe. The biggest collection of this hoard is now in the Gradski muzej Sisak.
