Gold earring with red glass

Golden disc decorated with an eight-petal flower pattern; the heart is made up of a red glass cabochon imitating the garnet, set with a gold leaf.
The "S" suspension ring, attached to the reverse, is welded to the center of the disc.
The center was decorated with a green octagonal glass paste imitating the emerald.
This model is frequently found in the 2nd and 3rd centuries AD.
