Silver ring
Intaglio: 12 x 10 mm; thickness: 3 mm.
Saint Boil, no. 80-8.
The silver ring - now completely chlorinated to the point of disintegration - was decorated with a glass paste, dark blue and light blue-gray, with flat surface and beveled edges. A character, naked - Apollo? - stands frontal, the head turned right, the left leg crossed, leaning against a column in a posture derived from Praxiteles types.
The shape of the ring, with broad shoulders and welded crimp ring, makes it possible to date it from the 3rd century AD.
