Solid gold ring; shoulders cut to the day. The kitten is formed of a round intaglio, representing a small rodent, probably a squirrel, on a line of soil. The pattern, quite common is of a good quality of engraving.
The kitten set in a frame with cut sides, welded to the ring and the shoulder blooming in floret are elements that allow dating in the 3rd century AD.
