Fetching coin data
The pot, which was found intact, is made of a hard, dark grey fabric. It is 2½ in. in height, but the rim appears to have been broken off and the rough edge partly smoothed down, possibly to widen the aperture. A small hole has also been drilled through the side of the pot, just below the rim. Inside the pot were eight coins, and underneath these, some leaves, still in a good state of preservation; these were possibly the remains of some purse or wrapping.
