The pot is a small globular flagon of good hard-fired grey ware, retaining traces of what appears to be a thin purple-brown slip, with a band of white slip just above the bulge of the body. The single handle was weakly luted to the neck and body and is now missing. 6 in. high, and 4¾ in. wide.
