Summary

The hoard comprised a finger ring with an intaglio depicting Mercury, a worn dupondius, 64 denarii and 75 antoniniani (radiates) from Septimius Severus to Trebonianus Gallus. The objects and coins were enclosed in a leather bag which had been placed in a small recess in the foundations of a third-century building.
