Summary

On several occasions between 1845 and 1971, numerous wooden ex-votos were found at the source of the Roches, along with Continental Iron Age and Roman coins. The finds from 1850 included coins of Constans, Constantine and Maximinus. According to Henry and Gonod, there were also coins of Claudius, Vespasian and Titus. Rescue excavations in 1970 to 1971 recovered 11 Continental Iron Age coins, 47 coins of Octavian, 6 of Augustus, 2 semisses of Augustus or Tiberius, 1 as of Tiberius, 1 dupondius and 3 asses of Nero and numerous unidentified coins.
