The ring is of silver with a rounded hoop, widening into a plain oval bezel. On the hoop are three ridges, the outer pair having a nicked decoration, which diverge at the shoulders to continue on either side of the triangular area of the shoulder. Part of the bezel and part of one shoulder is broken away. The shape and the decoration on the hoop and shoulders are usually assigned to the third or fourth centuries AD
