Fetching coin data
Bronze handle-attachment with a roughly lozenge-shaped plate and an open loop.
The object is curved, and has traces of an expanded area at the thick end which must have been an attachment. Its function is not clear, but it is unlikely to be Roman, hence not associated with the coins.
The ring is very heavily worn. It has an undecorated rectangular bezel 1cm long. Although the form could be late-Roman, it does not show any clearly Roman features. The analysis of the metal, though showing a higher silver content than sterling silver, is atypical for Roman silver in certain respects, and there must be a strong possibility that the ring is not Roman, and not connected with the coin hoard.
