On the via consularis de Praetorium (Puy-de-Jouer) to Aeilodunum (Ahun). The composition of the hoard with vessels and cult statues suggests that it came from a sanctuary site.
Associated features

Near this road, in 1820, was discovered a Gallo-Roman cemetery composed of a fairly large number of cremation burials in granite chests.
