Summary

The hoard comprised a large greyware 'olla' filled with small bronze coins, totalling approximately 2,000. These were partially dispersed although 500 coins were studied by Janicaud and 137 examples donated to the Musée de Guéret. No coins of the Gallic Empire were found in this hoard. The hoard was found when a farmer's plough struck a vessel.
