Summary

The hoard comprised a brown ceramic vessel containing 1,200 Iron Age coins. De Farcy identified 800 coins, of which 20 were staters; the rest were quarter-staters (of which 500 were 'frustes'). They appear to all be billon coins attributed to the Namnètes (BN 6743 and 6745, LT XXI) The hoard was found during levelling work
