Summary

The hoard was found in a ceramic vessel or a small square pot and contained more than 100 gold Iron Age coins. The exact total is not known with any certainty. 111 (Godard), 120 (Parenteau), 150 (Martin). The hoard was found by the son of the landowner and a servant in a field on the land of M. Gardais. One coin was aquired by the Cabinet des Médailles (BN 6723). The Musée Saint-Jean, Angers acquired two staters which were stolen in March 1885 (Reg. II, p. 10, no. 23, December 1860). The Musée départemental d'Archéologie, Nantes acquired 1 stater
