Summary

The hoard comprised a ceramic 'olla' containing 121 Roman silver coins mixed with burnt material. It was found in an orchard behind the cemetery on the Frémont property. 14 of the coins were sold to Rouen just after the hoard was found with the rest being acquired in 1908 (Inventory III, p. 52, nos. 2091 and 2097).
