Summary

The hoard comprised 7 kilos of coins 'of Postumus, Gallienus and Claudius II' in a metal vessel. Found by a farm laborer in the Bois de Beaurepaire on land owned by M. de Campeau. The coins were distributed between numerous people but a small part of the hoard was kept by the finder. In 1914-1918, it was stolen by the Germans without ever having been being catalogued.
