Summary

The hoard comprised a ceramic vessel containing originally 1,968 denarii and antoniniani, ranging from Septimius Severus to Valerian and Gallienus. A cursory list of these was established by Andrien Blanchet in 1904. A more detailed catalogue of the 1,862 specimens (219 denarii and 1643 antoniniani) in the Musée Carnavalet was published by Le Gentilhomme (1946). A 106 coins of this hoard are therefore lost.
