Summary

During various excavations at the Neolithic site (from 1842 to 1969) 25 Roman coins - ranging from Domitian to Arcadius - were found together with other artefacts (rings, brooches). Among coins were, eight gold pieces presented here: Tetrarchy - Theodosius I. Also three uniface gold medallions of the House of Constantine were found (see Objects). All the coins and artefacts are considered to be votive offerings (Bland/Loriot 2010, 99).
