Summary

A small part of the hoard was found in a molehill and then subsequently in a broken coarse ware vessel. It comprised more than 1,500 coins, the majority of which were presumed to be antoniniani (radiates) from Gordian III to Maximian I. There were also two aurei of Tetricus II. Hobbs estimates a gold weight of c.10.4g and a silver weight of 3.0g.
