Accounts vary concerning the composition of this hoard, but two suggest that 18 ingots were found, alongside a large number of gold coins. Mowat (1902) suggested that approximately 600 aurei were found and c. 20 gold medallions, with emperors represented from Severus Alexander to Constantius I. Hobbs estimates a precious metal weight of 1029.2g+;
