Fetching coin data
The substantial part of a large coarse ware wide-mouthed locally made jar was recovered with the coins. The twenty-nine sherds of pottery (weighing 1429g) come mainly from the lower portion of the vessel; only 10% of the rim has survived. The sherds suggest a base diameter of 13 cm and rim diameter of 15 to 16 cm. The pot is made from a distinctive fabric which is almost certainly local to Cornwall or western Devon.
