Fetching coin data
Seventeen small to tiny sized sherds from a single wheel made coarse were jar made were recovered with the hoard. Weighing 132 g (mean sherd weight: 7.7 g), these sherds represent part of the base and lower wall of the original complete vessel. Only 40% of the base is present. This situation is common with hoard pots where the vessel had been buried upright, and the upper part of the vessel was subsequently most disturbed by recent ploughing. The vessel has a base diameter of 120 mm. The vessel was constructed from a hard, dark grey or black fabric combined with a dark brown-black sandy material. There is nothing diagnostic about this vessel.
