Rudimentary remains of a house foundation were excavated near the armoured-vehicle garages at the Tofta regimental area, and a remarkable find was made beside one of the foundation stones.

Site comment

The excavation of a house foundation dating from the Migration Period. The house foundation lies beside the armoured-vehicle garages and probably belonged to a farm that consisted of a total of five houses. Ten years ago, archaeologists discovered the foundations of the other four houses during an excavation. Archaeologists estimate that the farm was in use from approximately AD 150–550.
