Summary

3,547 coins to c. AD 320 found with the use of a metal detector: 15 antoniniani (radiates) (AD 260–296); 875 nummi (AD 295–310); 2,657 nummi (post AD 310). Latest coins: mints of London and Trier (c. AD 319–320). The coins were found in clusters or rouleaux of up to 9 coins held together by corrosion products and/orsoil. The coins were not yet separated at the time of reporting. The coins were buried in a 'Black Burnished Ware' jar, likely manufactured in southwest England during the late 3rd or early 4th century. Approximately three metres apart from the hoard Sully 2008 A (CHRE 2194)
