The brooch is missing its headloop, spring, pin, foot and catchplate. The bow has enamelled cells mirrored across the central ridge, retaining C-shaped cells of blue enamel flanking a central bifurcated Y-shaped cell of yellow enamel at the head. Below this, on either side of an acanthus button at the center of the bow, flanking sets of small, triangular cells extend to the foot.
