Fetching coin data
A thin sheet of silver plate. The plate is sub-rectangular with irregular cut edges and has been folded in half twice. One fold was opened by the finder, revealing the coins. The surface of the plate within the remaining fold appears undecorated. The outer surface had a partial double-banded incised ring with letters engraved between them. The remaining visible letters are [--]AL[I?]S A [----]. The sheet plate is likely to be a cut fragment (i.e., Hacksilber) of a larger vessel, such as a shallow dish or small plate. Length: 34.4 mm (to fold front) / 21.3 mm (to fold back); width: 50.5 mm; thickness: 1.1 mm. Weight: 25.2 g.
