Fetching coin data
A Roman pottery vessel in a number of fragments, likely to be the container for the coin hoard. The largest fragment, probably a quarter to one-third of the vessel, shows that the vessel was a medium-sized flat bottomed globular beaker, probably with a plain rim. The beaker is a grey coarseware, made of a friable fabric with poorly sorted silica inclusions. There are traces of coin impressions on the inner side of this fragment.
