Summary

A small hoard consisting of 28 Roman imperial denarii: Trajan - Septimius Severus, (AD 193-211) and a silver lunula was found by a treasure hunter on the border of Cherkassy and Kirovohrad regions, near the village of Kapitanivka, in the direction of the village of Zhuravka. The hoard was found in the forest, on the slope of a ravine (20-30 m from the bottom; the angle of the slope is about 15-20 degrees), at a depth of 50-60 cm. Together with the coins, several fragments of pottery were found.
