Fetching coin data
The piece of gold, which appears to have been cut from a longer, narrow bar of gold, had a metallic composition quite similar to Roman gold coins and jewellery. The fragment of gold bar weighed 1.694 g., composition 96% gold, 4% silver, 0.4% copper.
