Summary

An aureus of Titus from the reign of Vespasian was possibly found alongside an unknown quantity of other gold and silver coins in an urn containing ashes, located near the Dyffrynbern inscribed stone. Robertson 77 and Guest and Wells 681 list this find as a hoard, but Bland 699 sees a strong case for regarding the aureus of Titus as a single find rather than as part of the hoard.
