Fetching coin data
When perfect, the pot probably had a height of 15 or 18 inches; its girth is 28¾ inches. No portions of its shoulder or rim seem to have survived. A coarse ware of dull brown colour, without any ornamentation whatever. The fragments of pot, now in the National Library of Wales, Aberystwyth, came from the body of a large urn of hard red-brown clay, burnt grey at the core, and burnished brown on the outside. The surviving portion is 8 in. high and 10 in. wide.
