Summary

278 denarii were found while metal detecting in different years in a field east of Algarsthorpe, Great Melton, Norfolk. The hoard was scattered, but the majority, some 70%, were found in an area 10 m across. A small number was found further away, the furthest being some 80 meters from the centre.
