This vessel contained 46 bronze coins, and the other vessel with silver coins.
The larger pot was a rouletted jar of hard grey clay, burnt red at the core, with a pedestal foot, 2¾ in. in diameter, and a small slit in the bottom. The surviving portion was 5½ in. high and 5 inches in diameter, internal measurement.
