gold finger ring with spiral filigree decoration. The hoop is a thin band of gold sheet, bordered on each side by twisted wire. The shoulders have neat, elaborate spirals in gold wire with central gold globules,
some now missing on one side and some unsupported by the backing. Surrounding the empty rectangular bezel is a roped flange. See Thetford treasure ring 10 for filigree design. Weight 3.97g; max. width of hoop 4. 1mm; internal 1 7.5g x 17.6mm; bezel (rectangular) 1 1 .5mm x 1 3 .2mm.
