Jar
Comment
A jar now 8 inches high, with a maximum diameter of 9½ inches and a base-diameter of 4½ inches. The pot was broken when found and has been pieced together from the fragments; but the neck sherds are missing and cannot be reconstructed. The fabric is a grey, sandy ware with added grits. The pot is decorated with two zones of wavy lines, each contained between a pair of straight lines. The upper zone has a single wavy line, while the lower has two. Between the two zones are five applied decorative knobs, each about ½ inch in diameter and protruding about ¼ inch from the surface of the pot.
