The coins were apparently lying on a fragment of decayed cloth, suggesting a container. Three different lists of this hoard exist, totalling c. 530, 500 and 492 coins. The list here follows the one given by Robertson, based on the 492 coins deposited at the National Museum Cardiff.","Location displays approximate coordinates centred on four figure grid reference.","31","12","1879","31","12","1879","253","260","284","294","","Robertson: 832; Guest, P. and Wells, N. - 2007 - Iron Age and Roman coins from Wales: 281; Nash-Williams, V. These almost certainly form strays from the Aberkenfig hoard.","","","","","","","","","1","Hoard","Wales; United Kingdom","","Centred on village/city","Diocletian (RIC V)","Diocletian (RIC V)","Other chance find","Mineral extraction","Non-archaeological intervention","Uncertain","Mine","Uncertain","","Uncertain","3","2","2","Cloth wrapping","","Roberston dataset, imported by J.
