The hoard was found during a rally of the Tamworth Metal Detecting Club and there were 18 finders in all. 2 aurei (Tiberius and Titus under Vespasian: Tiberius (1) 1. TR POT XVII - IMP VII, Emperor in quadriga r., RIC 3, 7.69g, AD 15-16. Titus under Vespasian (1)

PONTIF - TR P COS IIII, Victory stg. r. on altar, RIC 785, 7.07g, AD 75); 92 denarii (Republic, 44; Mark Antony, 15; Augustus, 6; Tiberius, 5; Caligula, 1; Galba, 1; Otho, 2: Vitellius, 1; Vespasian, 12; Titus under Vespasian, 1; Domitian, 1; uncertain, 3). Addenda of 1 Republican denarius (2004). Note: this hoard was found within some 500 metres of the single aureus of Claudius I discovered in 1925 (see single finds).
